OUR FIREFIGHTER CLOTHING RANGE

HIGHLY TECHNICAL & INNOVATIVE FIREFIGHTER CLOTHING

Our firefighter clothing, whether it's structural firefighter suits, multi-function rescue jackets or our layered solutions uses advanced technologies and fabrics and provides a real revolution rather than an evolution in fire kit. We've closed the door on old existing technologies, and instead we've adopted a brand-new approach to creating multi-layered, multi-functional structural firefighting clothing. Providing the very best protection available through into the 2020s and beyond.

OUR XENON FIREFIGHTER CLOTHING

Firefighting duties are ever changing and we take this into account with all the firefighter clothing we design. We wanted to be able to provide a flexible solution for fire and rescue services across the UK and with the XENON firefighter clothing range we truly believe we have achieved that.

XENON is the ultimate high performance 'free movement' fire kit. Providing the very best protection available and we firmly believe the XENON range is revolutionising the fire PPE market for many years to come. XENON designs are sportswear-inspired and ergonomically designed with reduced bulk and weight. XENON allows free and flexible movement - without restriction - across the widest possible range of movements. We gathered a huge volume of input from firefighters in the field to feed into the XENON design process and helped us create something that provides reliable protection and also offers outstanding levels of comfort and breathability.

We take your safety extremely seriously and all our protective clothing and fire suits are manufactured in accordance with the requisite national and international safety standards governing performance and quality of manufacture. These standards include specific safety standards for firefighter clothing EN469 (Protective clothing for firefighters. Performance requirements for protective clothing for firefighting activities) and standards not specific to firefighter suits EN ISO 13688 (Protective Clothing - General requirements).

Care and cleaning of firefighter kit is essential to ensure it retains their protective properties and remain conformant to the firefighter clothing EN469 PPE standard. Our Managed After Care Service Centre can work with you to keep it properly maintained and effective to PPE safety standards.

XENON Yorkshire Firefighter Clothing EN469 FIR470

XENON YORKSHIRE STRUCTURAL FIREFIGHTER CLOTHING (EN469)

Our XENON Yorkshire structural firefighter suits are worn across the Yorkshire and Humberside region in the UK. The three layer construction provides excellent protection against heat and flame, while delivering outstanding tensile strength.

  • Product code: FIR470
  • This structural fire kit is manufactured in a 205 gsm 58% Para-Aramid / 40% PBI / 2% Beltron fabric with reinforced Kevlar elbow and knee sections for additional protection
  • The lightweight fabric combination provides barriers against heat and quickly moves moisture away from the wearer. This, coupled with the unique 3D structure in the moisture barrier increases the movement of air throughout the suit providing firefighters with maximum breathability and comfort
  • The construction and placements of spacers also improves the breathability of the suit and air flow, reducing the risk of steam burns and heat stress
  • To significantly increase the visibility of firefighters in dark conditions we included the world’s first fire retardant and fully launderable phosphorescent tape in the design
  • Another key benefit of the suits is their rugged and reliable construction, allowing them to withstand a rigorous cleaning and maintenance regime without losing their protective qualities.
  • Approved to the standard for firefighter clothing EN469 (Protective clothing for firefighters. Performance requirements for protective clothing for firefighting activities)
  • Meets the standards for protective clothing EN ISO 13688 (Protective Clothing - General requirements)
