Ballyclare Xenon Firefighter Clothing EN469

OUR FIREFIGHTER CLOTHING RANGE

HIGHLY TECHNICAL & INNOVATIVE FIREFIGHTER CLOTHING

Our firefighter clothing, whether it's structural firefighter suits, multi-function rescue jackets or our layered solutions uses advanced technologies and fabrics and provides a real revolution rather than an evolution in fire kit. We've closed the door on old existing technologies, and instead we've adopted a brand-new approach to creating multi-layered, multi-functional structural firefighting clothing. Providing the very best protection available through into the 2020s and beyond.

OUR XENON FIREFIGHTER CLOTHING

Firefighting duties are ever changing and we take this into account with all the firefighter clothing we design. We wanted to be able to provide a flexible solution for fire and rescue services across the UK and with the XENON firefighter clothing range we truly believe we have achieved that.

XENON is the ultimate high performance 'free movement' fire kit. Providing the very best protection available and we firmly believe the XENON range is revolutionising the fire PPE market for many years to come. XENON designs are sportswear-inspired and ergonomically designed with reduced bulk and weight. XENON allows free and flexible movement - without restriction - across the widest possible range of movements. We gathered a huge volume of input from firefighters in the field to feed into the XENON design process and helped us create something that provides reliable protection and also offers outstanding levels of comfort and breathability.

We take your safety extremely seriously and all our protective clothing and fire suits are manufactured in accordance with the requisite national and international safety standards governing performance and quality of manufacture. These standards include specific safety standards for firefighter clothing EN469 (Protective clothing for firefighters. Performance requirements for protective clothing for firefighting activities) and standards not specific to firefighter suits EN ISO 13688 (Protective Clothing - General requirements).

Care and cleaning of firefighter kit is essential to ensure it retains their protective properties and remain conformant to the firefighter clothing EN469 PPE standard. Managed After Care Services can work with you to keep it properly maintained and effective to PPE safety standards.

XENON YORKSHIRE RESCUE MULTI-FUNCTION RESCUE JACKET

Our XENON Yorkshire multi-functional rescue jacket is worn across North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Humberside in the UK. The new orange/red colour makes them suitable for use in both fire-related and rail applications. • 230 gsm 40% modacrylic / 37% viscose FR / 22% regenerated viscose / 1% anti-static fabric with cut-and-puncture protection

  • The protective properties of the inherently flame retardant fabric mean it won’t degrade over time or be affected by repeated washing cycles. This maintains a high level of protection for the wearer and extends the operating life of the jackets considerably
  • To significantly increase the visibility of firefighters in dark conditions we included the world’s first fire retardant and fully launderable phosphorescent tape in the design
