Ballyclare Limited Supports Children in Need DIY SOS

Nick Knowles Pudsey BearBallyclare Limited proudly supports BBC1's DIY SOS and the Children in Need's Million Pound Build with hi vis and Orcon® workwear. 

This week BBC1 aired the DIY SOS Million Pound Build as part of this year's Children in Need event. This was the last episode in the current series for which Ballyclare provided workwear including hi vis, polo shirts, trousers, jackets and sweat shirts to the DIY SOS team and Nick Knowles.

Ballyclare Limited Structural Fire SuitsAlso making an appearance on the BBC1 show in addition to our high visibility workwear, Orcon® Workwear was some of our structural fire kit when firefighters from the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service arrived to help the build.

The special BBC episode saw the DIY SOS team "descend on Swansea to build a centre and supported housing for young people in care and leaving care. This special episode shares the stories from some of Wales's most vulnerable young people as well as the founder of the Roots Foundation Wales, a charity part-funded by BBC Children in Need that supports young people in and leaving care."

Our very own Roger Foster, Sales and Marketing Director and Paul Hunt, Regional Sales Manager, have volunteered on several projects in the last months and have really enjoyed their time with DIY SOS. They even made a 'guest appearance' on the Swansea show.
