As a trusted manufacture of technical and performance workwear, Ballyclare has always sought to offer a range of services that help support the day-to-day demands and needs of our customers and wearers.
From time to time we also need to review the efficiencies and expectations you expect of us, and where possible, improve our services to drive up effectiveness and performance levels. We have therefore reviewed our Made To Order (MTO) and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) across our product range and those we make specifically for customers.
It has become evident we are receiving orders well below what makes our MTO/MOQ services viable when considering the supply chain partners we work with as well as the need to maintain our manufacturing capabilities.Therefore, with immediate effect, all orders categorised as ‘Made To Order’ will be subject to a ‘Minimum Order Quantity’ of 100 pieces per style, subject to raw and component materials availability.
In many cases, when considered over the period of a year, individual orders we receive from customers that are below this MOQ level total well above the threshold when combined. Therefore, we encourage customers to forecast where possible and to consolidate smaller orders in to fewer larger ones to cover the MOQs.
